Bayraktar AKINCI hits armored and moving targets with indigenous guidance kits

Baykar, ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK SAGE successfully tested indigenous guidance solutions in joint trials.

Two different guidance kits were tested

In one stage of the munition firing tests, a munition integrated with the LGK-82 Laser Guidance Kit and released from the Bayraktar AKINCI platform struck and destroyed the designated armored military vehicle.

The GÖZDE Guidance Kit was used in another stage of the tests. A munition integrated with the GÖZDE Guidance Kit and released from Bayraktar AKINCI hit the moving target with high precision and a direct strike.

In a social media post following the tests, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol highlighted the capability to strike moving targets with precision. Akyol said that indigenous platforms had become more powerful and effective through their precision guidance capabilities.
