Emine Erdoğan, wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said what is happening in Gaza is not only Palestine’s problem, warning that “every cruelty that goes unpunished before the eyes of the world today may become the fate of another people, another land tomorrow.” In a video message marking three years since the start of Israel’s attacks, she said defending Gaza means defending “the shared conscience of humanity.”

The video also featured excerpts from President Erdoğan’s U.N. General Assembly speech and satellite images comparing the same area of Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023 and Oct. 7, 2026.
