First aircrew for Türkiye’s T625 Gökbey helicopter completes training

First aircrew for Türkiye’s T625 Gökbey helicopter completes training

The Ministry of National Defense announced that the first aircrew to operate Türkiye’s indigenously developed, multi-purpose T625 Gökbey helicopter had successfully completed its training.

The training was conducted at the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ). The ministry said the aircrew had completed a demanding familiarization process to operate the helicopter with maximum efficiency.

The T625 Gökbey helicopter is scheduled to join the Air Force Command’s inventory in October. The ministry described the development as a new step in Türkiye’s national aviation efforts.
