The technology cooperation between HAVELSAN and ETE Teknoloji has turned into a corporate partnership. HAVELSAN General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar and ETE Teknoloji General Manager Prof. Dr. Erdal Çayırcı signed the partnership agreement at a ceremony held at the HAVELSAN Technology Campus.
Cooperation began in 2017
The two companies had been working together in technology since 2017. ETE Teknoloji, which develops computer-assisted wargaming, exercise and experimentation solutions, and HAVELSAN also signed a cooperation agreement on sales rights in 2023.
Following that agreement, domestic and international business development activities led to the implementation of civilian and military projects addressing the needs of different countries, primarily the Turkish Armed Forces.
Simulation and training portfolio to be strengthened
Through the partnership, HAVELSAN aims to strengthen its simulation and training portfolio. The company also plans to establish wargaming centers internationally and provide consultancy, sustainment and operational services for these centers.
HAVELSAN General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar said the partnership would strengthen the cooperation and synergy between the two companies. Nacar said their engineering teams would continue developing high-technology solutions for the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces and friendly and allied countries, adding that the partnership would support cooperation on international projects and increase reliability in the eyes of end users.
ETE Teknoloji General Manager Prof. Dr. Erdal Çayırcı said the company was progressing toward its goal of turning the smart systems and structural simulation products it had developed for more than 10 years into globally used brands recognized for their quality. Çayırcı described the partnership with HAVELSAN as an important step toward achieving this goal.
