Husband kills wife with 5 stab wounds in Manisa after she obtained restraining order
In the Salihli district of Manisa, Himmet Gök, who was subject to a restraining order, killed his wife Sultan Gürel Gök with five stab wounds. The suspect was taken into custody and confessed to the crime.

The incident took place at a house on 385 Street in the Yörük neighborhood of Salihli. Upon a report to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. Medical teams determined that Sultan Gürel Gök died as a result of five stab wounds.
Police teams took the woman's husband, Himmet Gök, into custody in connection with the incident. Himmet Gök confessed to the crime in his statement at the police station.
Sultan Gürel Gök had filed a complaint about a week ago, alleging that her husband had assaulted her, and had obtained a restraining order against Himmet Gök. Angered by the order, Himmet Gök came home, argued with his wife, and attacked her with a knife.
Himmet Gök's procedures at the police station are ongoing.
