Istanbul-Kuşadası bus overturns in Kütahya: 31 injured
A passenger bus on the Istanbul-Kuşadası route driven by M. lost control and overturned on the Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar highway.
A passenger bus traveling on the Istanbul-Kuşadası route overturned on the Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar highway. According to initial reports, 31 people were injured in the accident.
The bus with license plate 50 DK 949, driven by M. E. G., overturned after the driver lost steering control at the 36th kilometer of the Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar highway.
After the accident was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, numerous AFAD, fire, medical, police and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Following first aid at the scene, the injured were taken by ambulance to various nearby hospitals.
The Afyonkarahisar-bound direction of the Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar highway was closed to traffic due to the accident.
