US rapper Macklemore’s “Free Palestine” tour sold out shortly after tickets went on sale on September 30. The first three shows will take place in Dublin on October 26, Paris on October 29 and London on October 30.

All proceeds will go to organizations supporting Palestinians. “I’m honestly blown away. We put these shows together fast and in community, believing that musicians can stand in solidarity with Palestine,” Macklemore said. Guest artists for the “Macklemore and friends” shows and any US dates have yet to be announced.

Macklemore was dropped as an opening act from the US leg of Ed Sheeran’s “Loop” tour after pro-Palestinian remarks during his performances. He pledged the $1 million he earned from the tour to six organizations supporting Palestinians and challenged New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match it. In 2024 he released “Hind’s Hall” in support of pro-Palestinian campus protests.
