Marmaray, Başkentray and İZBAN to be free on October 29

Urban rail systems operated by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Ankara, Istanbul and İzmir will be free on October 29, Republic Day. The decision, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was published in the Official Gazette.
Under the decision, Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line and the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Halkalı Metro Line will carry passengers free of charge throughout October 29.
The 103rd anniversary of the Republic will be celebrated with ceremonies across the country on Thursday, October 29.
