Minister Bolat seeks Türkiye automotive industry's inclusion in EU draft law
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat announced that he and automotive industry representatives evaluated developments concerning the European Union's Industrial Acceleration Act draft. Bolat said initiatives would continue in coordination with the industry to ensure that Türkiye's automotive industry is covered by all provisions of the draft.

Bolat said the meeting was attended by the presidents and senior executives of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly, the Automotive Exporters Association, the Automotive Industry Association and the Association of Vehicle Suppliers.
The meeting addressed the progress made in the Trade Ministry's contacts with European Union institutions and member states, as well as the latest developments concerning the draft law. Representatives of the automotive industry also shared their assessments of the contacts they have held to date and the steps expected to be taken in the coming period.
Bolat said initiatives would continue in close cooperation and coordination with the industry to ensure that Türkiye's automotive industry is included in the Industrial Acceleration Act with all its provisions.
