The Ministry of Interior has taken comprehensive measures to ensure that citizens can travel in peace and security during Eid al-Adha. Minister Mustafa Çiftçi stated in a social media post that 334,017 law enforcement personnel will be on duty during the holiday. Of these personnel, 66,481 are specifically assigned within the scope of traffic measures. The ministry will prioritize guidance and information over punishment in traffic inspections. Thus, it aims to prevent traffic problems that may occur during the holiday period.
