ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci said serial production of the TAYFUN Block-3 ballistic missile has begun while tests continue, and that it is expected to enter the inventory this year. Its seeker can detect and neutralize moving targets at sea, he said at TEKNOFEST in Şanlıurfa.

İkinci added that TAYFUN Block-2 is also expected to enter service this year and that the İHA-300 munition, which extends drone strike range from 150 to 300 kilometers, will soon go into production.
İkinci also said the BARBAROS coastal defense system had been exported for the first time following agreements signed at the ADEX fair in Azerbaijan. Noting that the system, which uses ATMACA and ÇAKIR missiles, will contribute to Azerbaijan's naval deterrence, he said ROKETSAN's export figures this year had exceeded planned levels and that the company was expected to close the year above its targets. İkinci said ROKETSAN aims to rank among the world's 50 largest and most important defense companies.
KAYI Savunma, a wholly owned subsidiary of ROKETSAN, showcased its capabilities for the first time at the ADEX fair. The company can produce conventional and long-range munitions, 155-millimeter guided munitions, mortar ammunition and 122- and 107-millimeter rocket systems. İkinci said the priority for KAYI Savunma is to reach high production capacity and grow through exports, adding that the company is now able to offer integrated air munition solutions comprising guidance systems, bombs and fuzes.
