Russia’s Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said agricultural trade between Türkiye and Russia amounted to approximately $6 billion last year.
Speaking at the 2nd International Veterinary Safety Forum in Moscow, Lut said the two countries complement each other in agriculture and that agricultural trade was progressing steadily.
Mutual trade in agricultural products
Lut said Russia’s agricultural exports to Türkiye were slightly higher than Türkiye’s exports to Russia. She said the two countries trade with each other across different product groups.

Lut said Russia primarily sends Türkiye grains, oilseeds and oil products, while it mainly imports fruit and vegetables from Türkiye.
Describing her Turkish counterparts as stable partners for Russia, Lut said she hoped cooperation, trade and friendship between the two countries would continue.
