Tibi mocks Netanyahu with “voluntary migration” jab as UN hall empties
Palestinian-origin lawmaker Ahmad Tibi responded on X to Netanyahu’s speech before an almost empty hall at the 81st UN General Assembly.
Palestinian-origin lawmaker Ahmad Tibi responded in a post on X to what happened during Netanyahu’s speech in the hall of the 81st UN General Assembly.
Tibi mocked Netanyahu, writing, “Voluntary migration from the hall. Another international achievement for Netanyahu.”
During Netanyahu’s speech, representatives of many countries left the hall, protesting Israel’s genocide in Gaza, land seizures in the occupied West Bank, and its attacks on Syria and Lebanon.
Netanyahu, who addressed an almost empty hall, appeared to have brought some Israelis to the UN General Assembly to applaud him.
