Türkiye’s domestic electric car brand Togg is continuing preparations for the T6X, a new model designed to make its product family more accessible to a broader range of users following the T10X and T10F.
Togg Chairman Fuat Tosyalı provided key details about the T6X’s sales schedule and pricing strategy in a statement on August 31, 2026.
Tosyalı said the T6X was being developed as a much more accessible car than Togg’s existing models and that there had been no change to the previously discussed price target of around 1.3 million Turkish lira.
Orders will open in June 2027
The expected sales schedule for the T6X is also beginning to take shape.
Tosyalı said the company plans to begin collecting orders for the T6X in June 2027. The first vehicles are expected to be shipped to customers from the end of June.
The T6X is therefore planned to hit Türkiye’s roads in the middle of 2027.
1.3 million Turkish lira is not a final sale price
Price is one of the issues drawing the most interest in the T6X.
Fuat Tosyalı had previously said that the T6X could be positioned in the region of 1.3 million Turkish lira. In his latest statement, he said the company was maintaining this price target.
However, 1.3 million Turkish lira is not currently a final sale or list price officially announced by Togg.
Many factors, including inflation, exchange rates, tax regulations, battery costs and production expenses, could affect the final sale price by June 2027, when the vehicle is scheduled to enter the market.
For this reason, it is more accurate at this stage to refer to an approximate “target price” of 1.3 million Turkish lira for the T6X.
It will be more affordable than the T10X and T10F
The T6X is planned as a lower-priced option than Togg’s existing models.
While Togg’s T10X and T10F models are in the C segment, the T6X will be part of a B-segment product family designed to be more compact and reach a broader user base.
Fuat Tosyalı also said the T6X would be “much, much more affordable” compared with current prices.
The strategy shows that Togg wants to strengthen its position in the Türkiye market not only with electric cars in higher price ranges but also with more accessible models.
T6X will be a key part of the new B-segment family
As part of its growth plan in the B segment, Togg signed a strategic technology partnership with CAIT, a subsidiary of CATL, one of the world’s leading battery technology companies.
The partnership includes plans to develop a joint platform for Togg’s new B-segment vehicle family.
Togg said the company would not simply use a ready-made platform; Togg engineers will also actively participate in its development.
CAIT will contribute to the platform technology, while Togg will play a role in areas including user experience, product requirements and digital architecture.
Three new B-segment models are planned
The T6X stands out as one element of Togg’s broader B-segment strategy.
Under plans previously announced by Togg, three models developed on the new platform are targeted to go on sale gradually in Türkiye from the middle of 2027.
The plan indicates that Togg will significantly expand its product range in the coming period.
With their more compact dimensions and more accessible prices, the B-segment models are expected to play an important role in increasing Togg’s sales volume.
Special campaigns are being prepared for the T6X
The T6X’s financing options are also attracting interest alongside its sale price.
Fuat Tosyalı said the new model would be positioned as a more affordable option and announced that campaigns tailored to the T6X would also be prepared.
However, it has not yet been announced whether these campaigns will include loans, financing support, low-interest payment options or different purchasing models.
Details of the financing and campaigns are expected to become clear as the vehicle’s sales date approaches.
The T6X’s technical specifications have not yet been announced
The T6X’s technical specifications are another area of major interest.
Togg has not yet comprehensively disclosed key technical details of the new model, such as battery capacity, electric motor power, WLTP range, fast-charging time, equipment levels and version options.
For this reason, technical specifications shared about the T6X on social media or various automotive platforms should not be confused with official information.
More comprehensive information on the vehicle’s design, battery, range and equipment options is expected as it approaches mass production.
Togg’s user base surpassed 88,000
The T6X will join Togg’s steadily growing user base.
According to figures released by the company, Togg delivered 39,020 T10X and T10F vehicles to users during 2025. The total number of Togg users exceeded 88,000 by the end of 2025.
Togg is also continuing its growth efforts in the European market. The company entered the German market with the T10X and T10F, and both models received five stars from Euro NCAP, Europe’s independent automotive safety assessment organization.
Why is the T6X important for Togg?
The T6X’s importance goes beyond simply adding a new car to Togg’s product family.
With electric car prices in Türkiye still high for a broad segment of users, the launch of a more affordable domestic electric car could significantly affect competition in the sector.
If Togg can maintain its target price of approximately 1.3 million Turkish lira during the sales period, the T6X could become one of the models capable of reaching the brand’s broadest customer base to date.
However, price will not be the only factor determining the vehicle’s position in the market. The T6X’s range, battery technology, equipment level, charging performance, financing campaigns and the overall conditions of the automotive market in June 2027 will also influence consumer choices.
At this stage, the T6X’s timeline is becoming clear: Togg aims to begin collecting orders in June 2027 and deliver the first vehicles from the end of the same month.
The price target of approximately 1.3 million Turkish lira remains in place, while the vehicle’s final sale price and technical specifications are expected to be announced in the coming months.
