Risk analysis and technological infrastructure in use
Customs Enforcement teams conduct their work with risk analysis systems, technological inspection infrastructure and the support of specialized personnel. These efforts have produced results in protecting economic security, preventing unfair competition, safeguarding public health and combating criminal organizations.
Emphasis on combating smuggling
The Trade Ministry said efforts to combat all forms of smuggling that harm the national economy, create unfair competition and threaten public health are continuing. The ministry said work against smuggled products that particularly expose young people to addiction is also ongoing.
Customs Enforcement teams continue their fight against smuggling around the clock, in line with the responsibility undertaken after the 2026–2035 period was declared the “Decade of Family and Population,” with the aim of protecting families and the physical and psychological integrity of children in their developmental years.
