Turkish cuisine showcased at Dakar's Asian Food Festival
Türkiye's Embassy in Dakar presented Turkish hospitality and cuisine to members of the diplomatic corps and Senegalese guests at the 2026 Asian Food Festival.
Türkiye's Embassy in Dakar took part in the 2026 Asian Food Festival, held in Senegal's capital. The embassy introduced Turkish hospitality and its rich cuisine to members of the diplomatic corps and Senegalese guests.
Traditional Turkish dishes were served at the Turkish stand set up at the festival.
Relations between Türkiye and Senegal have developed in recent years in the areas of trade, education and development cooperation. Ambassador Dilşad Kırbaşlı Karaoğlu also met with Gorgui Ciss, secretary-general of Senegal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the same week.
