Turkish defense and aerospace exports reach $1.12 billion in July
The Turkish defense and aerospace industry achieved $1.12 billion in exports in July. In the January-July period, exports reached $5.787 billion, while the total for the last 12 months stood at $11.2 billion.
Turkish defense and aerospace industry drew attention with its export performance in July. The sector's July exports reached $1.12 billion, a 14.4 percent increase compared to the same month of 2025.
In the January-July period, exports rose 26.2 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching $5.787 billion. The sector's total exports over the last 12 months also climbed to $11.2 billion.
In a statement on his social media account, Görgün noted that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, they are maintaining the steady increase in exports by further advancing Turkey's engineering competence, production capacity, and global competitiveness. Görgün used the following expressions:
"Behind our growing export figures is the collective effort of our defense industry ecosystem. These numbers reflect Turkey's engineering strength in the world. I thank all our companies, engineers, technicians, and stakeholders who contributed to this success."
