Türkiye's Consulate General in Dubai celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic with a series of events held over two days. The celebrations began on October 31 with the October 29 Tennis Gathering at Emirates Golf Club and continued on November 1 with an official ceremony at the Consul General's residence.
During the ceremony held in the residence's garden, the Turkish flag was raised and speeches were delivered. Children who attended carrying Turkish flags also added to the atmosphere of the ceremony.

At the 103rd Anniversary Dubai Motor Ride held the same day, motorcyclists wearing white T-shirts bearing the words "Dubai Turkish Riders" rode in a convoy through the city's streets. The participants also unfurled the Turkish flag and posed for a group photograph.
Following the ride, attendees went to the Republic Day celebration at the Dubai Turkish Hours school. The Consulate General said it met with students, teachers and members of the Turkish community there. Children took part in painting and handicraft activities at tables set up for the celebration.

The day ends with an Atatürk film
The final event of the program was a screening of "1881 Atatürk: The Birth of a Leader," which tells the story of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's journey from childhood to leadership.
The Consulate General thanked the members of the Turkish community who attended the events, musician Edin Arslantürk, who brought the enthusiasm of Republic Day to the stage, and Trolleys Market, Turquaz Gourmet and Mahmood Tea for supporting the celebrations with refreshments. The video prepared by the Consulate General features footage from the two-day celebrations.
