Developed by ASELSAN, the Gök Alp system is designed to detect, track and destroy threats posed by unmanned aerial vehicles through direct collision.
The system identifies threat UAVs using radar and electro-optical surveillance technologies. Gök Alp can autonomously engage these threats through interceptor UAVs.
Live demonstration in Ankara
A demonstration of the system was held at ASELSAN’s Oğulbey technology base in Ankara. During the test, the Aura radar detected the target UAV.

Real-time data on the detected target was transmitted to the Gök Alp A1 interceptor UAV through the Gök Alp system’s Drone Dive command-and-control software.
After receiving the data, the Gök Alp A1 destroyed the target UAV through a direct midair collision. The test demonstrated the system’s ability to operate its different components together and showed its capability to intercept UAVs in the field.
System structure
Gök Alp is mounted on a four-wheel-drive vehicle capable of carrying different types of high-speed, low-cost interceptor UAVs. The system combines reconnaissance, identification and tracking in a single structure and was developed for use against unmanned aerial vehicles and suicide UAV threats.
