Combining free seaside enjoyment with affordable and tasty food, Bodrum’s public beaches remain an indispensable stop for both residents and local and foreign visitors who come to the region for vacation. For those seeking an economical, clean, and comfortable summer day, the public beaches are once again among the most preferred spots this summer.
The number of public beaches in Turkey’s unique seas is set to reach 23. The environmental arrangements, cleaning services, and easy access at the free-entry public beaches continue to draw positive responses from visitors. As of today, the public beach project launched by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is providing services at 20 locations: 14 in Antalya, 5 in Muğla, and 1 in İzmir.
With three new beaches planned to open by the end of 2026 in Sinop Abalı, Samsun Yakakent, and Bitlis Adilcevaz, the aim is to expand the service model to different regions of Turkey.
