Five defendants sentenced over Malatya apartment collapse that killed nine
Five defendants were sentenced to prison in the case concerning the Madencioğlu Apartment building, which collapsed in Malatya's Yeşilyurt district, killing nine people. The contractor received 10 years, the technical supervisor and structural project designer 11 years and 3 months each, and municipal officials serving at the time 8 years, 10 months and 20 days each.
