Health Minister Memişoğlu says 20,000 volunteers are ready for disasters during UMKE Week
Health Minister Memişoğlu said in a post for UMKE Week that they continue to stand by citizens in disasters and emergencies with over 20,000 volunteers, 471 vehicles and 678 field hospital tent units.
Health Minister Memişoğlu made a post on his social media account as part of National Medical Rescue Teams (UMKE) Week.
In his post, Memişoğlu said, "UMKE is the name of the uninterrupted effort carried out in disasters. With over 20,000 volunteers, 471 vehicles, and 678 field hospital tent units, we continue to stand by our citizens in disasters and emergencies. I thank all UMKE personnel for their efforts."
Minister Memişoğlu also included a video in his post about UMKE's work in disaster areas, particularly the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023.
