The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) filed an urgent request with the US Department of Justice on Oct. 19, asking it to investigate, arrest and prosecute Israeli army commander Sean Glass. According to the foundation, Glass is currently in the United States.

The foundation alleges that Glass commanded the unit it says was involved in the January 2024 killing of Palestinian girl Hind Rajab, who was in a car with relatives in Gaza when it came under Israeli fire, and that he most likely gave the order to shoot. The request seeks prosecution under US war crimes and genocide statutes.

US Rep. Rashida Tlaib also urged the government to arrest and investigate Glass. The Justice Department has not commented on the request.
