A defense delegation from Syria attended the final part of the EFES 2026 exercise held in Turkey. The delegation, chaired by Chief of General Staff Ali Al-Naasan, took part in the last session of the exercise. Various demonstrations of land, sea, and air elements were conducted within the scope of the exercise. Different groups of the Syrian Arab Army also participated in the event. Syria's participation is evaluated within the framework of strengthening professional training and operational capacity through military cooperation and exposure to modern warfare methods and joint planning mechanisms. The EFES 2026 exercise is seen as an important platform for regional military cooperation and training.
