Tension at Can Polat's Condolence: Engin Polat Removed from Mosque
Tension erupted at the condolence held for Can Polat, who died in an armed attack in Çeşme. Engin Polat, along with his brother and father, was removed from the mosque.
After the funeral ceremony for Can Polat, who lost his life in an armed attack in Çeşme district of İzmir, condolences were accepted at the mosque. During the condolence, tension arose between Can Polat's family and Engin Polat.
The argument between the parties quickly escalated into a fight. Following the scuffle, it was learned that Engin Polat, his brother, and father were removed from the condolence area and the mosque.
Investigation Continues
It was reported that the investigation into the armed attack that caused Can Polat's death is ongoing. Two more suspects believed to be connected to the incident were apprehended and taken into custody through the joint efforts of Istanbul and İzmir police units.
The judicial process is ongoing. The increase in the number of detentions as the investigation progresses has brought renewed attention to the inquiries surrounding the incident.
Tension at the Condolence Area
