Türkiye’s Boston Consulate General discusses cooperation with MassArt president

Türkiye’s Consulate General in Boston visited the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt), one of the United States’ longstanding art and design schools, and discussed bilateral cooperation opportunities with President Dr. Mary K. Grant.

In Boston since 1873

Founded in 1873, MassArt describes itself as the first and only publicly funded independent art and design college in the United States. The school offers undergraduate and graduate programs in fine arts, design and art education.

Türkiye’s Consulate General in Boston will also hold a commemorative ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 10, marking the 88th anniversary of Atatürk’s passing. Citizens wishing to attend the ceremony must register with the consulate by noon on Monday, Nov. 9.
