Beşiktaş drew 2-2 with Kasımpaşa at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium in the 10th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, despite taking a 2-0 lead. The Black-and-Whites moved up to 19 points, while Kasımpaşa reached 17.
Trossard and Vlahovic goals not enough
Beşiktaş started the match strongly and took the lead in the 28th minute through Leandro Trossard, ending the first half 1-0 ahead. The visitors made a fast start to the second half, with Dusan Vlahovic doubling their lead in the 47th minute.

Kasımpaşa refused to give up and cut the deficit in the 60th minute with Claudio Winck’s header. The home side increased the pressure in search of an equalizer and made it 2-2 in the 87th minute when Rafferty converted a cross into the penalty area.
Italiano: “The match was in our hands; we gave it away from 2-0”
Beşiktaş head coach Vincenzo Italiano said after the match: “Unfortunately, we gave the match away after going 2-0 up. We created four or five very good chances for a third goal. However, there was a lack of concentration and our rhythm dropped. The team lost control at that point and we conceded two goals.”
“This team has the capacity to win away from home, but we cannot show the same quality and concentration away as we do at home, and we are paying a very heavy price for it,” the Italian coach said. He added that they lost concentration for around 20 minutes in the second half and needed to solve this problem in their upcoming away matches.

Winck: “They were very arrogant on the pitch”
Claudio Winck, who scored Kasımpaşa’s first goal, sharply criticized the opposing players: “Some Beşiktaş players think they are bigger than they really are. Some see themselves as superstars. They were very arrogant on the pitch. Some players showed us no respect at all. We focused on our game and made it 2-2.”
The Brazilian footballer added: “Kasımpaşa’s DNA is never to give up. This kind of disrespect happens at some clubs. We focused on our job and came back.”
With this result, Beşiktaş remained fourth with 19 points, while Kasımpaşa, who have lost only once in the league this season, moved into fifth place with 17 points.
