Daylight saving time ended in European Union countries on Sunday, October 25, and clocks were turned back one hour at 01:00 UTC, or 03:00 local time in Central Europe. Clocks in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Portugal were also turned back one hour at the same time.
No clock change was made in Türkiye, which has used the UTC+3 time zone year-round since 2016. As a result, the time difference between Türkiye and Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium increased from one hour to two hours, while the difference with the United Kingdom and Portugal rose from two hours to three hours. Türkiye is now one hour ahead of Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, which use the same time as Türkiye during the summer months.

In the United States, daylight saving time will end on Sunday, November 1. From that date, the time difference between Türkiye and New York will increase from seven hours to eight hours, and the difference with Los Angeles will rise from 10 hours to 11 hours.
Since Russia, Azerbaijan and the Gulf countries do not observe daylight saving time, the time difference between Türkiye and these countries has not changed. Travelers going abroad are advised to check their flight, connection and appointment times according to the local time in their destination country.
