Ulak noted that the solidarity and will to rise again after the February 6 earthquakes demonstrated the city’s strength and became a source of hope for the future, adding that the event would address Kahramanmaraş’s economic future, investment potential, and development vision.

Ulak said that as A Haber, they regard it as an important responsibility to convey production, investment, and success stories from across Turkey to the public, and stressed that a strong Turkey is possible with strong cities, production, and employment.
Kahramanmaraş to Become a Regional Center of Attraction

Görgel noted that housing, infrastructure, health, transportation, and urban transformation investments carried out under state coordination have revived economic life, adding that the Metropolitan Municipality meets around 60 percent of its electricity needs through its Solar Power Plant.
He stated that with the Northern Districts Asphalt Production Plant and electric bus investments, they have reduced costs and increased service quality. “We aim to reduce water losses through infrastructure renewal and use public resources more efficiently. Kahramanmaraş has the potential to become one of the important production centers of the Middle East in industry, trade, and logistics,” Görgel said.
“TUSAŞ’s production investment in the city has opened the door to a new era in the defense industry. We are working resolutely for a Kahramanmaraş that generates added value, creates employment, and expands its exports,” he added.
