Actor Ozan Güven appeared as a guest on the program "İki Arada," broadcast on tv100. During the program, Güven addressed expressions used at funerals and in condolence messages, criticizing the preference for alternative phrases instead of saying "May God have mercy."
"I don't know whether saying 'May God have mercy' at funerals is so difficult. Instead of talking about energies in the galaxies, people can say 'May God have mercy,'" Güven said.
Güven also said that the phrase "Rest in light" bothered him, adding, "I prefer saying 'May God have mercy.'"

He had brought his own funeral to the stage
Güven describes his one-man play "O.M.G," which he performed on stage, as a biographical work in which he conducted his own funeral.
