President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev. The two leaders discussed bilateral relations, regional and international developments, and security in the Black Sea.
Erdoğan said Türkiye would continue taking steps to develop relations with Bulgaria and would carry out concrete efforts to increase cooperation, particularly in trade.

Erdoğan said Türkiye was holding contacts with Russia and Ukraine to ensure navigation safety in the Black Sea and expressed his regret over attacks carried out with an unmanned aerial vehicle in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone.
In recent weeks, two commercial vessels were attacked in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea, approximately 70 nautical miles east of the coastal city of Byala. Radev had said there was no conclusive evidence linking the attacks to a specific party.
