Türkiye’s shelled hazelnut exports surpassed $2.5 billion in the 2025-2026 season
Türkiye earned $2,509,526,039 from shelled hazelnut exports during the September 1, 2025-August 31, 2026 period. A total of 197,085 tons of hazelnuts were shipped to 120 countries and free zones throughout the season, with Germany ranking as the largest export market.
Türkiye’s shelled hazelnut exports reached $2,509,526,039 in the 2025-2026 season. The season covered the period from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026.
During this period, a total of 197,085 tons of shelled hazelnuts were exported to 120 countries and free zones.
Germany was the largest market
Germany received the largest volume of Turkish hazelnuts. Türkiye shipped 56,335 tons of hazelnuts to Germany, generating $730,955,988 in revenue.
Italy ranked second, with exports totaling 31,201 tons and $395,264,674. Türkiye shipped 10,500 tons of hazelnuts to France and earned $147,324,404 in revenue.
Türkiye is among the countries holding a significant share of the global hazelnut market.
