Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu answered young people's questions alongside Nobel Prize-winning scientist Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar and Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar at the "Meeting with Young People" event held as part of the 12th Turkish Medical World Congress.

"We will tell the world: Let us produce it together"
Memişoğlu said the ministry was working on health informatics and robotic surgery technologies, adding, "By early 2027 at the latest, we will issue a call through TÜSEB for a robotic surgical device. We will tell the world, 'Come, let us produce this together.'"
Emphasizing that the device would be produced in Türkiye, including its software and all of its technology, Memişoğlu said, "We have the capability and the people. We can do this, and we will."
Artificial intelligence goal using e-Nabız data
Memişoğlu recalled that Türkiye had been collecting health data entirely electronically through e-Nabız since 2015 and said they aimed to become one of the countries that uses artificial intelligence most effectively in healthcare by processing this data.
Calling on young people to develop innovative ideas, Memişoğlu said they had established the Üreten Sağlık Portal to turn ideas into products and that young people who submitted their ideas to the portal would be granted patents directly. He also said that Genç TÜSEB had been established within TÜSEB to support young researchers.
